4 SIMPLE STEPS

Your KC Personal Training journey starts with you. There are no pre-designed training programs, and no one size fits all diet plan regardless of where you’re starting from. At KC Personal Training we are 100% tailored to you, the individual.

Step 1.

We start with an in-depth consultation to learn more about you and your goals and to establish where you are now.

A full nutritional consultation and ongoing reviews are regularly scheduled to develop a dietary program suited to your goals.

Step 2.

We assess your current movement patterns to identify any areas of restriction or weakness so we can factor these into your plan.

Step 3.

The sessions are adapted to your ability and goals, and are progressively designed to see measurable results throughout your journey.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

NUTRITIONAL CONSULTATION

A dive into understanding your current diet and lifestyle to see where improvement is needed.  And learn the what, why, and how to make changes at a pace that works for you.

MOVEMENT ASSESSMENT

A series of simple posture and movement tests to see how well you move and which muscles and joints may be weak or restricting, that may be causing stress or pain.

8x TRAINING SESSIONS

Your initial training program is designed based on your goals and abilities as found in your assessments and progresses over the 4 weeks.

We ask that you train with us for a minimum twice per week as training frequently helps achieve faster results, and training consistently creates the long-term habit that builds an active lifestyle.

A monthly Direct Debit subscription for PT sessions applies after the trial period ends

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How long are the sessions?

​Training sessions run for 60 minutes including warmup and workout time.  Nutrition consultations and posture assessments are also 60 minutes unless otherwise agreed.

Where do we have the sessions?

All sessions are carried out at The Gym Group London Holborn Circus. Clients are required to register a membership directly with The Gym Group in order to access the facilities.  

When will I start to see a difference?

Results can be dependent on a number of factors. Everyone has different goals, body shapes, lifestyles, and motivation levels.  Some clients see a positive change in appearance or wellbeing within a few weeks, for some it may take longer.  Committing to the process and being open to change is the best way to see faster results. 

How many times a week should I exercise?

We recommend a minimum of 2 PT sessions a week to get the most out of your coaching and to help build the routine of exercise into your lifestyle.  Doing your own workouts outside of those sessions is also recommended to maximise your efforts.  This can be your own gym sessions, bike rides, yoga classes, or any other physical activity. ​

Will I have to go on a strict diet, follow a meal plan or have to count calories?

No, we don’t do crazy drastic or restrictive diets.  Our approach to nutrition is to educate you as best we can on what makes a healthy diet and what is healthy for your body in particular.  Everyone’s needs and tastes are different, so we work together with you to devise a plan to help you take the right steps to change your diet for the better, at a pace that suits you. 

I feel really unfit and out of shape and scared that I won’t be able to keep up. 

Don’t worry.  Though sessions will need to be challenging enough to stimulate progress and change, will always work within your abilities and encourage you to push just outside of your comfort zone to discover your training potential.

I have had a lot of injuries in the past. Will you be able to adapt my training accordingly? 

At KC Personal Training we make sure our clients can move and exercise as pain free as possible.  We assess posture and movement and incorporate corrective exercises to help improve joint function which may reduce or eliminate pain and prevent injuries from re-occurring.  And if necessary, we may also refer you on to a great team of physiotherapists and osteopaths to uncover any underlying issues, and work together to address them.
